Manufacturer of custom milled metal sheeting required a system to contain and collect dust from automatic metal sanding operation. A cyclone collector was utilized to act both as a pre-separator as well as a spark trap. The 36 cartridge collector then provided high efficiency cleaning of the pre-cleaned air stream.

Metal Working - BDC Pleated Bag Dust Collector

Family shop producing metal stamps presented a special challenge as they required all of their processes to be serviced by a single dust collection system. The problem is that they had both dry and wet (coolant) operations which can normally not be accommodated. By using the Pleated Bag collector with special moisture treated bags, they have enjoyed over 2,000 hours of filter life with no down time. The system is connected to surface grinders, belt sanders, a dry machining center and various other small sanding and grinding operations.
